Bonjour PANTS friends!
I hope that November (or Movember) has been going swell! And maybe not going by as fast as it has been around here. Even though it’s been passing by so fast, I have still been enjoying all the greatness that has been happening.
Last Tuesday I had the priviledge to take part in the Unfiltered Facts Youth Summit (UFYS) in Hamilton. UFYS is a day-long event put on by youth for high school youth. Plus there were also workshops for teachers by public health nurses.
All-in-all it was an amazing day! I had a lot of fun talking with all the inspiring youth who had such drive to make a difference. And the speakers were INCREDIBLE! I was so inspired.
It was a great bringing together of multiple schools to create a strong supportive community – which I think is exactly what is needed to bring about positive change. Congrats UFYS on a successful day!
